Ahead of Manchester United’s encounter with Arsenal, United defender, Raphael Varane, says he’s optimistic the Red Devils are capable of wrestling the Premier League title away from table topper, Arsenal.
Recall that Man United moved within a point of Manchester City after beating Pep Guardiola’s side on Saturday.
They will face Arsenal next weekend after taking on Crystal Palace on Wednesday, and two wins could put them in the title race.
However, Varane believes ‘everything is possible’ for Manchester United this season, with Erik ten Hag’s side still fighting on four fronts.
“Everything is possible,” Varane told The Athletic when speaking about Man United’s Premier League title chance this season.
“We will just take it game by game. It is a long way to go, and it is very difficult. The intensity of every game is incredible, the physical effort. It is like the same intensity of a big Champions League game, every game.
“The rhythm is very high. The players are very well prepared, physically. We know how difficult it is. But we are solid, we are strong. We just need to use the quality players with the ball.”
