Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford goals were enough as Manchester United defeated Burnley 2-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
The Red devils who made their entry to the last sixteen after beating Aston Villa 4-2 before the World Cup break, started brilliantly in front of their home fans.
Their long spell of possession paid off as they took the lead through Christian Eriksen who converted Aaron Wan- Bissaka’s sliding pass three minutes before the half hour mark.
