Former Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal has warned his fellow country man, Erik Ten Hag about the vacant managerial position at Old Trafford.
The 70-year-old former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager said this in the wake of United’s interest in Ajax head coach, Erik Ten Hag.
He advised the ten Hag who has been highly sought-after to look elsewhere, saying “Erik ten Hag is a great coach and that is always good for Manchester United. But Manchester United are a commercial club, so it’s a difficult choice for a coach. He’d better go to a football club.”
“I’m not going to advise him, he’ll call me himself. But he must choose a football club and not a commercial club,” he added.
Van Gaal spent two years at Old Trafford, leading them to an FA Cup triumph.
