Ibrahim Magu has been decorated as the Assistant Inspector General of Police, despite being suspended as the acting chairman of the EFCC.
Magu was decorated by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba at the police headquarters in Abuja.
This is coming after his promotion was confirmed by the Police Service Commission as he turned the mandatory age of 60 on 5th May.
The promotion is coming months after a panel probed him on allegations of gross misconduct, which culminated in his suspension.
