Spanish midfielder Fermin Lopez has signed a new contract with Laliga champions FC Barcelona this summer.
Lopez signed a four year contract with the Catalans which will expire in 2027. His buyout clause has been set at €400 million.
The Barcelona academy product made his official first team debut for the club in the 4-3 win over Villarreal on Sunday, August 27 at El Madrigal.
Barcelona confirmed the news on their website.
“The Andalusian midfielder reached an agreement to extend hisyou contract until 30 June 2027 with a 400 million euro termination clause.”
Lopez has made one appearance in Laliga this season. Barcelona are currently fourth in the Laliga standings with seven points from three matches in the Spanish top flight.
