A Twitter user, simply by the name, Baiano has recounted how he was robbed by a pickpocket thief most unusually and shockingly.
Baiano was reacting to a tweet by a user simply named, Born Gifted who gave out security-conscious tips for people who are new in Lagos.
In one of the tips, Born Gifted wrote, “don’t put your phone inside your pocket whenever you’re inside danfo”. Always put it inside ur bag.”
Taking to the comment section, Baiano said sometime in 2016, he put his phone in his pocket while going to work in the morning and listening to a sports channel with an earpiece.
According to him, the thief removed his earpiece from the phone and stole the phone without his knowledge.
He added that he is still in awe of how it happened, noting that Lagos is tough.
“I put my phone in my pocket in Lagos and was listening to a sports channel inside a bus while going to work in the morning around 2016, do you know the thief removed my earpiece from the phone and stole it, am still in awe how it happened, Lagos is tough.”
