Germany international Kai Havertz will undergo his medical tests ahead of a move to Arsenal this week.
The 24-year-old player put an end to a three-year playing time at Arsenal and London rivals Chelsea after reportedly agreeing to join the North London Club earlier this week.
According to top football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is set to do his medical tests later this week as his move to Arsenal is imminent.
“Arsenal plan confirmed for Kai Havertz: medical later this week, formal contract already sent and being checked then it will be official.
“£65m fee with add-ons confirmed, also long term deal for Havertz who’s set to become first Gunners signing this summer.
“Understand Kai Havertz medical will take place over the weekend. It’s likely to be overseas, due to the player’s schedule. If all goes according to plan, the announcement is expected early next week.
Kai Havertz will become the first signing of Mikel Arteta this summer as the Spaniard is looking to mount a title challenge against Manchester City next season.
