One Dazuli Abubakar has been arraigned before a Kafanchan Magistrate Court for allegedly sodomizing a minor.
The suspect was arraigned by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for breaking against the 259 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.
Accorsing to Marcus Audu, the NSCDC’s counsel, the defendant lured the 7-year-old boy with N200 before having anal sex with him. He further threatened to kill the boy if he made known his deeds known.
He said the defendant, Abubakar was reported to the NSCDC office on September 29 by the victim’s mother.
According to People’s Gazette, the Magistrate Michael Bawa adjourned the matter until November 1 after declining to take Mr Abubakar’s plea for lack of jurisdiction to hear the case.
Mr Bawa directed the prosecutor to forward the case file to the director of public prosecutions for legal advice.
The boy was later treated at Salama Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Kafanchan.
