The Nigerian Army says a total of 314 BokoHaram/ISWAP fighters have surrendered to troops in Bama LGA of Borno State.
A terse statement on the facebook page of the Nigerian Army, disclosed this on Wednesday night.
The statement said the surrender was as a result of the ongoing offensive onslaught against terrorism in the North East.
The statement also said 12 farmers were also rescued by the troops, adding that profiling of the surrendered terrorists is ongoing.
