Jabi Lake Mall located in Jabi area of the Federal Capital territory has been shut down due to security reasons.
The management of the mall made this known in a statement released on Instagram on Thursday.
“Jabi Lake Mall will be closed today, Thursday, 27 October 2022. This decision has been taken in the overall interest of the safety of all staff and customers of the mall.

“Centre Management is committed to minimising any disruptions; however, the safety of our staff and shoppers remains our highest priority,” the statement read in part.
The statement added that it would continue to monitor the situation and will let the public know when it is safe to reopen.
Earlier in the week, the United States Embassy had warned her citizens of possible terror attack on government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, bars, and hotels, within the Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.
Other countries like Canada, Australia, and Ireland issued similar warnings to heir nationals.
