Injury rules Sadio Mane out of Qatar World Cup

Bayern Munich forward, Sadio Mane is set to miss the FIFA World Cup set to start in Qatar less than 2 weeks from now.

The second best player in Europe limped off just after 20 minutes when Bayern Munich took on Werder Bremen at the Alianz Arena on Tuesday.

Bayern would go on to win the game by 6 goals to one but it has now been confirmed that the Senegal International will miss the World Cup.

While the extent of the injury has not yet been ascertained, it was his knee that was injured.
