Governor Nasir El-Rufai if Kaduna State has vowed to hire foreign mercenaries to tackle the insecurity issues in his State if the Federal Government continues failing to protect his people.
Mr. El-Rufai made this known in Hausa while briefing President Muhammadu Buhari on the recent attack on Abuja-Kaduna railway.
9 people lost their lives during the terrorist attack, with an unknown number of people also missing, as the authorities are yet to ascertain how many were abducted.
“I have complained to Mr president and I swear to God, if action is not taken, we as governors will take actions to protect the lives of our people.
“If it means deploying foreign mercenaries to come and do the work, we will do it to address these challenges,” Nasir El-Rufai said.
