Leicester City’s wait for a win in the Premier League this season continued as they were humbled by Brighton and Hove Albion in a 7 goal thriller at the Amex.
Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho repaid Brendan Rodgers’ faith in him, scoring just 53 seconds into the game.
It was Iheanacho’s first start this term, but it ended in pain for the Nigerians as the home side ran riot.
Brighton came from behind to take the lead after goals from March-induced offside goal and Moise Caicedo, but Patson Daka drew Leicester level before half time.
Mac Allister thought he had made it 3:2 with his outrageous goal from range, but the VAR ruled out the goal.
However, Trossard made it 3:2 after the restart before a brace from Mac Allister sealed all three points. First, a penalty after Wilfred Ndidi fell Trossard in the penalty box, before he buried a free kick deep into stoppage time to push them up into the top 4.
Kelechi Iheanacho has been directly involved in 20 goals in his last 25 starts in the Premier League for Leicester (15 goals, 5 assists). However Leicester sit bottom of the Premier League with just a point.
