Olajide Adediran, a PDP candidate for governor in Lagos, responded to Babajide Sanwo-justification Olu’s for skipping the debate held by the platform during an interview with Arise News. Adediran noted that if Sanwo-Olu claims it is unsafe for him to stand in front of the public and speak, that speaks volumes, Adediran said.
In addition, he said that Sanwo-Olu would have been present at the debate and that he would have interrogated him on a number of topics, including how he used public funds and why people are still living in poverty.
“I guess I’m going to take it from his justification for not attending the debate,” he said. It says a lot when the governor of a state, who is tasked with serving as the state’s chief security official, declares that it is unsafe to stand by the people living there.
