Nigerian hip hop artist, Panshak Henry Zamani, better known as Ice Prince has been arrested by the men of the Lagos State Police Command for assault.
The Oleku crooner reported abducted a police officer after he was stopped for driving without a licence plate.
“At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.”
But the musician allowed things to get messy when he did not just abduct the police officer, but also assaulted him and threatened to drown him.
The statement which was released by SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Public Relations Officer of Lagos State Police Command added, “He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.”
The singer was arrested for assault, for resisting or obstruction of justice.
