The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has gotten a new president in the person of Ibrahim Musa Gusau.Gusau was voted into the position at the Federation’s committee election held in Benin on Friday.
Arise News reported that in an election that was mired by controversy, Gusau was able to overcome 9 opponents to emerge winner and succeed Amaju Pinnick.
Earlier, Justice Inyang Ekwo had restrained the outgoing NFF President, Amaju Pinnick from conducting the NFF executive election scheduled for Sept. 30 in Edo, until hearing on October 31.
Gusau will be in office for four years. Pinnick served for 8 years.
