Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has confessed to hiring a witch doctor to help him with his injury-plagued career.
According to accusations made by the Juventus’ star’s elder brother Mathias Pogba, the Marabout was hired by Paul to cast evil spells on Kylian Mbappé. 
Reports say, Mathias, and four other suspects have been charged with trying to blackmail the footballer and get him to pay more than £11million.
All five suspects have now been remanded and are facing up to 20 years each in prison over a range of charges including extortion in an organised gang.
The pentad claim to have recorded a video showing Pogba speaking to the witch doctor, who calls himself ‘Ibrahim the Great’ and charges as much as €100 (£88) an hour for his services.
However, the 29-year-old French International denied the allegation, stating that he “never intended to harm anyone.”
Pogba explained to investigators working for France’s Central Office for the Fight against Organised Crime (OCLCO) that he was “looking to be protected against injury and also to help poor kids in Africa” he was in connection with through an aid organisation.
