The prayer made by founder of the pan socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti for the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu was celebrated as him endorsing him.
However, the elder statesman has denied such claims, maintaining that he only prayed for Tinubu as an elder.
He added that he would do same for Obi or any other candidate.
He said, “I did not endorse Tinubu. He came with his people for prayers and as a father, I prayed for him. If Obi comes too, I will pray for him. It is not in my place to endorse anyone, that is exclusivity of the Afenifere, which I’m no longer the leader.”
