It’s Official! Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual after cooking for more than 87 hours, 45 minutes, a record held by India’s Lata Tondon in 2019.
Chef Lata Tondon of India was called the “Iron Lady” when she cooked for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019 surpassing the previous record by 20 hours.
She(Hilda) will keep cooking to extend the record.
This will be the second time Hilda Baci is putting Nigeria on Top. First was a competition between Nigeria and Ghana Jollof, which she won for Nigeria.
Former Akwa Ibom State Governor and Mrs. Margaret Obi, the wife of Peter Obi, also came around to show support to Hilda ‘Baci’ Bassey, a proud Akwa Ibom State daughter.
