Samuel Animashaun Perry, a comic actor better known by his stage as Broda Shaggi, has celebrated receiving his prize at the 2023 AMVCA.
Shaggi who won the ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ accolade in this year’s edition of the award ceremony thanked God for the feat on his Facebook page on Sunday in response to being crowned.
He emphasised that hard effort pays off by saying that earning the AMVCA award once more following the 2022 edition was the result of hard work.
His post reads: “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency dedication and perseverance pays off.
“Thank you Almighty God and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful and I owe it to you all.
“Special shout out to my ever-supportive manager @Upanddownfellow.
“Here is to chasing even bigger dreams in the future!”
