A police station located at Okuta Elerinla in Akure, the Ondo State capital, was attacked by hoodlums on late Sunday evening.
Although information about the attack is still sketchy, it was gathered that at least one police officer was killed during the attack.
However, the Public Relations Officer of the command, Funmilayo Odunlami, said an investigation into the incident is underway.
