Grammy: Mixed Feelings In The Air, As Tems Wins, While Burna Losses

The 65th Grammy Awards took precedence in the early hours of today —6th February 2023, and it came with tons of mixed feelings for Nigerians, as Burna Boy loses out on both nominations, while Tems became the first female musician from the country to ever win one.

Tems won her first Grammy via her contribution on “Wait For U” which also has Drake on it.

Burna Boy on the other hand lost out ok the opportunity to add another Grammy award to his cabinet, as the Afro-beats superstar lost two nominations overnight.

He lost the Best Global Song performance for which ‘Last Last’ was nominated and Best Global Album for which ‘Love, Damini’ was nominated.
