Three new Permanent Secretaries have been appointed to the state civil service by Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
This was stated in a press release issued in Abeokuta by Kunle Somorin, the Governor’s chief press secretary.
According to Somorin, the new hires will fill any open positions in the government.
He claimed that in choosing the new Permanent Secretaries, factors including experience, accomplishment, professionalism, and inclusion were taken into account.
According to the CPS, the governor made the appointments in reliance on the clause in Section 208(c) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution of 1999 (as amended).
He named the new permanent secretaries as Mrs OLOKO, Moriamo Oluwatosin, Director of Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mr ADEOGUN Samuel, Director, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Ogun State Agricultural Development Programme, and Mr OLATUNJI, Timothy Ayoola, Director of Administration and Supplies, Ministry of Agriculture.
According to Somorin, the governor congratulated the new hires and asked them to rise to the challenges of their roles and work diligently to further his administration’s “Building Our Future Together” agenda.
