Prior to the opening of various projects, Kano State’s governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, announced the state’s readiness to host President Muhammadu Buhari.
He made this statement to the media on Sunday after meeting Buhari in Katsina.
Recall that Ganduje had warned Buhari to postpone his visit to Kano hours ago, following the “suffering” caused by the deadline for the old naira notes.
However, in light of CBN’s postponement of the old naira notes, the Governor had given the President a green light.
“We are very much ready to receive him and we have a lot for him to commission, including Federal Government projects and state government projects. They are state-of-the-art projects,” Ganduje said.
