Nigeria’s Flamingos crashed out of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup ongoing in India on Wednesday.
The young Nigerians took on Colombia in the semifinal of the championship after beating USA in the last round.
However, after a goalless 90 minutes, the game went into penalties which they lost 6-5.
Not the result the Flamingos would have wanted, but they had a good run in India, qualifying for the semifinals for the 1st time in history, only losing to Colombia 6-5 on penalties.
