Nigeria Men’s Basketball Team, D’Tigers have retained it’s position as the number one best team in the continent and 19th in World in the latest FIBA World rankings announced, Owosports.com.ng reports.
D’Tigers won two games in the just concluded window of the Africa qualifiers against Guinea and Cote D’Ivoire lost the final game to Angola and also lost the qualifying position to Cape Verde.
According to the latest ranking, D’Tigers placed as the top-playing basketball country in the continent and 19th in the World with 461.4 points.
Tunisia is placed second in the continent with 448.6 points and Senegal is in third position and Angola is in fourth position.
