Some toilet facilites built by former Bayern Munich defender, David Alaba have been commissioned in Ogere Remo community in Ogun State.
Alaba who was born in Austria by Nigerian parents donated N13.3 million to the Nigerian government through the David Alaba Foundation for the construction of biodegradable toilets in that community.
They were commissioned by the Minister of Water Resources Suleiman Adamu, who commended the Austrian International who now plays for Real Madrid for his kind gesture.
Adamu added that private sector investment is crucial in Nigeria’s fight to combat open defecation.
