Chairman of the Palliatives Committee and Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has urged Nigerians to remain patient in the face of subsidy removal by the Tinubu-led administration.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ahmed Idris, it is guaranteed that relief efforts are underway through the palliatives committee.
All necessary arrangements have been made for the distribution of these palliatives to alleviate the impact of subsidy removal.
Governor Idris, along with committee members Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra, Uba Sani of Kaduna, Bala Muhammed of Bauchi, and Alia of Benue, in collaboration with organized labour, reassures Nigerians that they will soon experience positive changes.
“The committee sat and deliberated on possible ways to cushion the effects of subsidy removal and very soon Nigerians will start reaping the benefits of this.
“We are determined to come up with a good and suitable outcome that will benefit Nigerians, therefore, be rest assured that the committee is up to the task.
“All we need is patience, support and cooperation from all Nigerians to enable us to achieve the set goals and objectives of establishing the committee by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.” He said
