Men of the Nigeria Police, Federal Capital Territory(FCT) Command, on Monday shot and killed two suspected kidnappers.
The two unidentified men were caught while forcefully conveying a farmer they had kidnapped around Galadimawa, near Gwarimpa which is in the heart of Nigeria’s seat of power.
In a video seen by Switch Nigeria, the two men could be seen in a pool of their blood with their rifles resting on their chests.
However, it is not clear if the farmer they kidnapped was saved or killed in the gun exchange between the hoodlums and the law enforcement officers.

As of the time of filing this report, the police are yet to release any official statement on the Kidnappers and their victim.
Kidnapping has become rife in Nigeria ever since the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari took over in 2015.
So far, the government has proven unable to deal with the menace, with some disgruntled members of the public suspecting the government is colluding with the hoodlums.
Nigeria ranks among the kidnapping hotspots of the world. Over 3,000 people were kidnapped in Nigeria in the first half of 2021 alone. The figure for January 2022 has been reported as 571.
