The spokesperson for the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign committee and former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode has accused Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) of holding clandestine meetings with the military too brass in order to scuttle the 2023 election and transition.
“There are reports that @atiku had a secret meeting with serving military Generals in Abuja on Thursday. If true, it is troubling & has implications. What was the purpose? Why would a presidential candidate be having secret meetings with soldiers 14 days before the election?” He wrote.

The former minister questioned if the meetings were held to destabilize the country and to provoke a coup d’etat a plunged the country into a state of emergency and then set up an interim government.
He also alleged that the PDP presidential candidate may be working with technocrats and the top echelons at Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) to help execute his sinister agenda.
