Popular Nigerian rapper – Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz has reportedly suffered an assault at his voting location today.
According to multiple reports, the singer was at the venue where local thugs were impeding the electioneering processes, where he also got his phone hijacked amidst the commotion.
Social media personality, Pamilerin also confirmed the attack on Falz saying: “FALZ and other voters have just been attacked and his phone has been stolen at Ikate Lekki. The ballot papers are being torn apart and scattered by the area boys there, they saw the support for Labour Party and couldn’t take it!! Emergency services are needed right away!!! Update: Voters that live close by have gone back into their homes for safety, they are still seizing people’s phones.”
However, Falz has taken to his Instagram page a few minutes earlier to confirm his safety, and the recovery of his phone.
