Manchester United advanced into the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Friday night after beating English Premier League rivals Everton 3-1 at Old Trafford.
Erik Ten Hag’s men, who are one of the two teams left in all competitions from any team in the England premier league fielded a strong starting eleven for the third round tie.
A game which brightly at Old Trafford, saw the red devils getting off to a flying start through Anthony.
The 22-year-old Brazilian international scored his fourth goal of the season after meeting a precious pass from Marcus Rashford, connecting well with the ball and guiding it into the bottom corner with just four minutes on the clock.
England International, Conor Coady leveled matters for Everton ten minutes later.
The 29-year-old Everton Center Back scored after David De gea misjudged a near post cross as the game went into the break with an even scoreline, 1-1.
Manchester United then got their noses in front from Conor Coady who was the hero for Everton, turned villain.
Marcus Rashford’s low cross was turned in by the Everton goalscorer, whose attempted clearance ended up into his own net in the 52nd minute.
Marcus Rashford then scored in his fourth game running in the last minute of the stoppage time from the penalty spot after Alejandro Garnacho was brought down by an Everton defender in the box.
The win puts Manchester United extended their winning streak to seven games as they moved into the fourth round, while their opponent Everton were condemned to their seventh winless run in all competitions this season.
