Erling Haaland’s Goal wasn’t enough as Manchester City were held at home to 16th place Everton 1-1 in premier league gameweek 18.
Manchester failed to close the gap to leaders Arsenal having started the day five points behind them.
Pep Guardiola’s Men started brightly in front of their home fans at the etihad Stadium, Erling Haaland scored his 21st goal in the league this season in 15th appearances.
He was set up by Riyad Mahrez who made a tricky move into the box and picked the Norwegian to give City a 1-0 lead in the 24th minute.
Everton got back into the game as winger Demarai Gray’s Curler found the top right corner in the 64th minute.
City’s late press wasn’t enough as they went on to drop points for the second game running at home and four points adrift of Arsenal at the top of the table.
