Chelsea won a massive game and ended their losing run with a 1-0 win over London rivals Crystal Palace in the EPL on Sunday afternoon.
The blues who are on a three game losing streak started strong in front of their fans and record signing Mykhaylo Mudryk who joined for €100 million from Shakhtar donetsk.
Graham Potter’s men began the game on the front foot, controlling the game but the away side broke on the counter with Michael Olise’s shot superbly stopped by Kepa in the 21st minute.
Thiago Silva’s shot from a corner was saved brilliantly by the Palace goalkeeper four minutes later as the game ended without a goal in the first half.
Chelsea then put themselves ahead four minutes after the hour mark through Kai Havertz after a quick pass from the corner from Ziyech and Mount.
Chelsea then held on to a hard fought victory after defending their box for 30 plus minutes.
The win still put them in 10 place a leveled on points with Liverpool who they face next Saturday.
