Premier League actions returned with a London derby as West Londoners Brentford forced Northerners Tottenham Hotspur to a 2-2 draw at the Brentford community Stadium on Monday.
Antonio Conte’s men’s sloppy start to the game saw them conceding just 15 minutes into the encounter to Brenford who started off nicely.
Brentford’s Mathias Jensen pounced on a cross and fired in a shot on goal from close range, but Fraser Forster was alert and made a decent save.
Vitaly Janelt then shot the rebound into the bottom left corner after the ball broke to him in the box to give Brentford the lead.
Ivan Toney’s goal was disallowed for offside two minutes before the break as Brentford took a one goal lead into the break.

England’s Captain Harry Kane pulled one back for Tottenham in the five minutes after the hour mark to score his 13th goal of the season.
Tottenham’s late push for an equalizer paid off, thanks to Denmark’s Pierre Emile Hojbjerg who pounced into a loose ball in the box to restore parity for Spurs.
The result still leaves Tottenham in fourth position while Brentford temporarily moved up to 9th ok the log ahead of Fulham and Crystal Palace who will face each other later in the day.
