Governor Nassir El-Rufai of Kaduna State said on Saturday that his administration would continue to sack “bad persons” and demolish bad structures till May 29 when he would leave office.
El-Rufai said this in Kaduna during the presentation of the governor’s biography, “Putting The People First,” written by renowned writer and public commentator Emmanuel Ado.
He said: “Any bad thing we find we will remove so that the next governor does not need to do it again. Watch out till the 11th hour when we shall quit office we will continue to sack bad persons and remove bad things.”
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State claimed that his Kaduna counterpart was never known to be a sycophant and that he was a bold guy who spoke truth to power during his speech at the event.
A former chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Kashim Imam, spoke on behalf of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who commended El-Rufai as a governor who completed any duty he was assigned.
