The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) are rumoured to be in talks with former Super Eagle, Sunday Oliseh for the vacant coaching position.
Austin Eguavoen recently vacated the position after he failed to qualify the national team for the Qatar FIFA World Cup coming up in November.
But on Monday, Sunday Oliseh whose recent coaching job was at Fortuna Sittard where he was sacked in 2018, emerged as favourites to replace Eguavoen.
Oliseh is regarded as one of Nigeria’s finest midfielders and last coached the Super Eagles in 2016.
