Nigeria’s first civilian president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has sent a message to Nigerian youths, instructing to take up leadership positions now.
The former Military Head of State said the time is now for the youths, who must not let anyone tell them otherwise.
Obasanjo was speaking on a radio program on Saturday hosted by Segun Odegbami on Eagles7 Sports 103.7 FM, Abeokuta, when he said this.
“My advice for Nigerian youths is that never let anybody tell you that you are the leaders of tomorrow. If you wait for tomorrow before you take over leadership, that tomorrow may not come. They will destroy it,” he said.
“This is the time, youths get up and make it happen.”
