President Muhammadu Buhari stated that he wholeheartedly supports Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate ahead of the Feb. 25th showdown.
At the Pantami stadium in Gombe on Monday, Buhari made this statement while addressing the crowd.
Buhari urged Gombe state residents to support Tinubu and other party candidates by casting their ballots.
The President asked them to disregard unsubstantiated lies saying he was rooting for another candidate.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Pantami, attended the ceremony on behalf of the president, according to Simon Lalong, Director-General of the APC presidential campaign committee and Governor of Plateau State.
Buhari promised that Nigerians would continue to benefit from democracy throughout Tinubu’s presidency.
Buhari claimed that his administration had given the go-ahead for more than 65% of the projects in Gombe State and that Tinubu would see to the profitable drilling of the state’s Kolmani oil field.
He said, “I want to remind you of the Federal Government approved projects in Gombe which are over 60 – 65 per cent; from taking over of Gombe Airport, to deliberate interventions in agriculture. People should reciprocate the support by voting for APC.
