A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has given Labour Party supporters the green light to go ahead with their planned rally scheduled for October 1st.
The ruling however stated that the #ObiDatti23 Forward Ever Rally must not converge at Lekki Tollgate.
Presiding judge, Justice Daniel Osiagor did not stop the group from holding the rally in Lagos, but he ruled that the rally must not converge on Lekki Tollgate. He however gave the go ahead for the rally to pass through the Tollgate to Falomo Bridge and for the other ones billed to hold in other parts of Lagos also.
The ruling also directed the Lagos State Police Commissioner and the Inspector General of Police to comply with the order.
