Former Chief of the Benue Inland Revenue Service, Andrew Ayabam is out on consultancy visits as he seeks support for his Senatorial ambition.
Ayabam, who has joined the Benue Northeast Senatorial race paid a courtesy visit to the paramount leader of Ushongo Local Government, the Ter Ushongo, His Royal Highness Augustine Kuma.
The visit came after he picked up the nomination form (pictured) for the position.
Ayabam who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives also met with His Eminence the Catholic Bishop of Lafia Diocese David Ajang at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama Abuja.
The experienced banker is hoping to unseat the People’s Democratic Party’s candidate and former governor of the state Hon. Gabriel Suswam. Back in 2014, he also joined the race, only for Barnabas Gemade, who had decamped from the PDP to contest on the platform of the APC to emerged the winner.
