Nigeria’s Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Nwabueze Ngige has announced his withdrawal from the 2023 presidential race.
The former Anambra State Governor decided to take a different path to that taken by Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba who chose to resign instead of pulling out of the race.

Ngige said in a document released to the press that he decided to run for office of president only because his constituents and well wishers asked him to.
He said the presidential form is yet to be filled and submitted to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress.
