A lady, Ummakulsum Sani Buhari has been allegedly stabbed to death by her Chinese boyfriend.
According to a police report, the Chinese man said he did what he did because the deceased took his money but refused to marry him as promised.
The incident took place at Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State on Friday.
According to a tweep, Ahmadranking, a “A little misunderstanding reportedly occurred prompting the accused to call Ummita repeatedly and she was said to have ignored his calls.
“He subsequently headed to their home, banged on their door repeatedly, which made Ummita’s mother furious.”
It was gathered that the Chinese man whose name is yet to be made public eventually gained access into the house, went to the lady’s room and stabbed her severally, killing her.
The remains of Ummakulsum Sani Buhari were buried on Saturday morning amidst cries from her family.
In another video seen by Switch Nigeria, the police, in a bid to protect the man from being lynched by the angry mob, whisked him into a police truck as they took him to the station.
Another source said the deceased got married to another man six months ago.
