Arsenal academy coach Jack Wilshere has been reunited with Cesc Fabregas with the former skipper back at London Colney.
And Wilshere, who played alongside the 35-year-old at the Emirates between 2008-2011, revealed he was keen to ‘pick his brain’ over his knowledge of the game.
Wilshere is currently the head coach of Arsenal’s Under-18s after retiring from football in 2022 following a number of injuries.
At a club like the Gunners, such a role comes with plenty of responsibility where the academy is incredibly important to the team.
And Wilshere received a helping hand when ex-teammate Fabregas turned up to lend a hand – where he even sported a personalised tracksuit with his initials on it.
The 31-year-old shared two pictures of the pair back together on Instagram on Wednesday where they were snapped in deep discussions.
Captioning the post, Wilshere said: “Learning from the best football brain I know!
“As a player I wish I had the chance to play with this guy for longer.
