In a shocking interview with the US media source CBS, Prince Harry took another shot at the British Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex revealed that he and brother, William, asked their father, King Charles, not to wed the Queen Consort, Camilla, when their mother Princess Diana passed away during an interview with Anderson Cooper to promote his new book, Spare.
The Queen Consort, who had a protracted romance with King Charles while he was still married to their mother, was willing to “rehabilitate her image,” according to Harry, who also called Camilla “dangerous” because of her connections with the media.
He also charged Camilla with planning for years to marry their father and ascend to the throne.
She was the villain and a third party in the marriage, so Harry said she needed to improve her reputation.
“Due to the ties she was establishing within the British press, it made her dangerous. With a family based on hierarchy and her on the path to becoming Queen Consort, there was going to be individuals or bodies left in the street as a result of the open readiness on both sides to exchange information.”
In a six-part docuseries that they also published on Netflix last year, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, accused the British press of treating Meghan unfairly and Diana-like.
