President Muhammadu Buhari was in Chad Republic on Monday to attend the inauguration of the country’s transitional President.
The inauguration took place in the country’s capital, N’djamena.
An interim government became necessary after Idriss Déby Itno, who had been the country’s president since 1990, died in 2021.
His son, General Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno was on Monday, inaugurated as the President of the Chadian Transition Government and Head of State of Chad.
