President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated his media aide, Lauretta Onochie as the new head of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board.
In addition to Onochie, Buhari also sent the names of 15 other people as members to the board to the Senate for confirmation.
They are Samuel Ibukun as managing director, Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere, director of finance; Charles Ogunmola, director of project; Dimgba Erugba (Abia), Ene Wilcox (Akwa Ibom), Pius Odudu (Edo), Gbenga Odegba (Ondo), Anthony Ekene (Imo) and Onyekachi Dimgba (Rivers).
Buhari had formerly nominated Onochie for a post in INEC, but later had it cancelled after Nigerians protested.
