There has been a fire outbreak in Maiduguri Central Market, popularly known as Monday Market, in the early hours of today; February 26th, 2023.
The state, federal, and other fire units from different institutions have united to contain the conflagration, according to Umaru Kirawa, the state director of fire service, who verified the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
“We have fully deployed to contain the situation,” Kirawa said.
