Houston Police department of Texas has confirmed reports trending on social media of the shooting to death of rapper Take-Off, one third of the Atlanta super rap group, The Migos.
Police spokesperson Lt. Salazar said the department responded to a shooting at ” 810 Billiards & Bowling located at 1201 San Jacinto, around 2:40 a.m.
The department said 3 people were shot. With one dying and the rest receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
The Migos are a multi-platinum selling rap group from Atlanta Georgia and consists of relatives Offset, Quavo and Take-Off.
In recent times, there has been reports of a rift within the group as evidenced by the last month release of the album, Built for Infinity Links by Take-Off and Quavo without Offset. The duo has been on a promotional tour in recent days to market the album.
His death comes few months after another rapper PnB Rock was shot and killed in a Los Angeles restaurant by a father and son criminal gang.
