Nigerian musician — Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, has once again accused his colleagues of commiting intellectual theft against him.
Recall that Blackface once accused 2Baba of stealing the hit song titled ‘African Queen,’ even though they were reports of 2Baba compensating him financially.
However, in his latest spree of accusations, Blackface told Sunday Scoop: “The time I released the songs (that were allegedly stolen) are online. I don’t want to trend; I just want people to stop touching my music without my permission.
“I am begging them to stop. I cannot be competing with myself. Many of them plan shows, and they intentionally don’t invite me. They should just give me the credit I deserve.”
The singer has also made a statement of this semblance a few days ago, via his Official Twitter account, saying: “You spend 165k dollars to shoot musical video for your artist.
“Una no fit use 100naira call the owner of the song before una remix am.
“Una dey form say una smart I believe
E better make una do the right thing because this one I no go sorry for una!
I dey come!”
